A Desktop Study is the first phase in investigating potentially contaminated land and is required by all local authority's as part of the planning process for certain developments. It is also known as a contaminated land report, desktop contamination report, CLR11 report and soil report.
It involves analysing historical and environmental information for the site and carrying out a risk assessment report with conceptual site model. This is undertaken to an industry wide, accepted standard. Our priority is to ensure that the planning condition is discharged as quickly and cost effectively as possible. Our focus is our clients.
