Our bespoke Desktop Study Reports comprise of a search of available environmental information and historical maps which can be used to identify changes in the land usage. Geology and hydrogeology (groundwater and surface water) at your particular site is also an import consideration since certain pollutants have the potential to travel from the source.
Our Site Investigation services offer our clients to ensure that their project is not held up before it even starts.
As required by all environmental consultees during the planning application process, such as a Local Authority, Environment Agency and/or NHBC, our desktop study reports contain an outline conceptual site model and qualitative risk assessment based on the findings of the desktop study that characterises all actual or potential pollutant linkages. This will then form the basis of any subsequent work undertaken as intrusive Phase 2 works.
