YourEnvironment are vastly experienced in producing validation certificates which are a thorough and concise record of the remediation process, either based upon the data obtained during our activities (as part of our remediation strategy process) or third party information. This is a requirement for the Health and Safety file.
Where developments have land quality planning conditions associated with contaminated land, our expertise include supervision and validation of the implementation of such designs, ensuring remediation works are completed as approved.
We also offer independent inspection and verification reports for the installation of gas membranes and protection measures.
We can provide a comprehensive method statement for the verification procedure. This allows the contractor to know and understand their requirements prior to commencing installation, as well satisfy the local authorities that sufficient verification will be provided on behalf of the developer.
Our validation reporting can be defined as demonstrating that the risk associated with land contamination has been reduced to meet remediation objectives, based on a quantitative assessment of remediation performance. Essentially, it is a document that will include all the information required to demonstrate that the site has been cleaned up in accordance with the appropriate legislation and as specified in the Remediation Strategy so that the site is suitable for the proposed use.
It will include chain of custody documentation for materials removed from site, laboratory test results from materials remaining and brought to site and all the other monitoring data.
We will liaise with the local authority and the Environment Agency, on your behalf, who will want to view the report, if they have required the work to be undertaken.
All of our reports are provided in electronic format.
